Lock
Lock lies in the centre of the Eyre Peninsula 300 km southwest of Port Augusta and 606 km northwest of Adelaide via the Princes and Eyre Highways.
It is a typical Eyre Peninsula wheatbelt town operating as a service centre for the surrounding cereal and sheep farmers.
Facilities:
Full catering facilities with, canteen and bar. Large under cover patrons area with tables & seating.
No eskies or glass allowed on course.
Tab, bookmakers, sky channel & internet access on course.
Race Track:
The racetrack is an oval shape dirt track with steriline running rails and 1900, 1400 and 1000 chutes. Racetrack is well watered prior to and on race day.
The club, houses 60 rubbered-back horse stalls, sand roll ring, shady trees and 2 horse, wash bays.
Lock race club have also recently upgraded its jockey rooms with new separate female/ male showers and toilets.
