The final team lineups for next week's Australia vs Ireland Jockey Challenge have been announced with some of Australia's most in-form jumps jockeys representing Australia.
A strong Australian team will be led by Richard Cully, fresh from his stunning victory on Wells in the Grand National Steeplechase in Ballarat on Sunday. The Kathryn Durden trained jumper just held off Over the Yardarm in a gutsy win to give him his third Grand National win.
Braidon Small will also be brimming with confidence after his win in Sunday's JJ Houlahan Hurdle aboard Two Hats. Two Hats recorded a memorable win in the hurdle, beating hot favourite Chequered Flag in a head bobbing finish giving Small a feature win.
Darryl Horner Jr has had a magnificent Over The Rainbow Series collecting three winners so far and is currently leading the competition. Clayton Douglas rode nine winners last season including one at both Morphettville and Murray Bridge where this year's Jockey Challenge races will take place.
Joining the two Irish Visitors in Rachael Blackmore and Donagh Meyler will be Martin Kelly and Shane Jackson who have both represented Ireland in this series in the past.
Respected jumps jockey Martin Kelly has Von Doussa and Great Eastern victories to his name both aboard champion jumper Thubiaan, while Shane Jackson took out this year's Australian Chase aboard the Symon Wilde trained Gold Medals.
