Not a stack of 'overs' on display through the early markets, with less-than-generous percentages posted across the board. In the current environment I think most early market punters are better off utilising products like Best Of The Best or Top Fluctuation.
Race 5 No. 5 Tristano
Comes into this off a disappointing run where he was found to be lame post-race. He should be able to control the speed in front and with just 51kgs on his back will take a lot of running down. Currently $3.90 but the Starting Price will be determined by the way the track is playing so if you notice a few leaders proving hard to catch early it might pay to lock in a price.
Race 6 No.3 Fill The Flute
She was dominant last start and looks well placed again in this field. She'll either share the lead or camp behind Ogunde in the run and is weighted to continue her winning ways. The main danger, Bold Star, is back in distance and not well-weighted in this field despite being a winning change.
Race 8 No.6 Raging Queen
Track pattern is important for her as she is the only horse in this article that will settle off the speed. I think her recent trial at Murray Bridge was strong and she should enjoy a good tempo in the race. If they're able to make ground I think she can finish over the top of them.
